BIOGRAPHY

Adam Schwartz is a creative director based in NYC, with a broad body of work in the digital space from more than 15 years working in New York and Los Angeles, including co-founding an e-commerce fashion company.

Adam is strong advocate of telling stories with digital experiences, engaging the user on all levels to produce work that shows us the next step in digital evolution. Adam’s experience with in-house brands like Tommy Hilfiger and USA Networks and has given him a unique insight into the challenges and rewards of working with large-scale corporate design. In addition to his in-house experience, Adam worked for agencies big and small on a range of clients and markets, including entertainment, hospitality and cultural institutions.

Adam also co-founded and successfully marketed an e-commerce clothing line, giving him deep experience with all areas of the e-commerce landscape, from the smallest coupon code to designing and coding an e-commerce website, developing advertisements and art directing fashion photoshoots.

Adam has had the honor of being faculty at a number of colleges and universities in New York and California. He has taught studio classes in graphic design, web design and photography, at the undergraduate and graduate level, at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), University of California-Irvine, Pace University, California State University at Fullerton and the Southern California Institute for Architecture (SCI-Arc), among others.

Adam has published and presented academic research and exhibited artwork in the US and abroad.

He is currently the Sr. Creative Director for Gilt Groupe and Saks Fifth Avenue Off Fifth
