In December 2016, Gilt partnered with the SCOPE art fair organization on a brand activation in Miami, at SCOPE’s South Beach art fair. We developed a branded lounge experience within the SCOPE event pavilion, as well as a series of branded events throughout the week that highlighted the complete lifestyle that Gilt and Gilt City offers its customers.
Partnering with local events agency BMF and our Home product vendors, we designed a space that included charging stations, multimedia areas, lounge, coffee and food vendors, as well as an outdoor patio and separate event space.
Specially-fabricated dibond panels were developed with a novel printing method that resembled brushed aluminum in a spectrum of brand colors. CNC-routed edges and raised mosaic tiles suggested the multi-faceted Gilt lifestyle. Mirrored and transparent faceted tiles were used to create a dynamic focal wall that encouraged social sharing. Successful street artist Beau Stanton, recently featured at renowned Wynwood Walls, customized the outdoor patio with a site-specific treatment on the outdoor bar.
The week saw the best of what Gilt City Miami has to offer, including yoga, spa, beauty & dining events in partnership with our local vendors. As well Gilt hosted several art talks that explored the boundaries between art, technology and fashion featuring pundits on the topic such as Oliver Pechou, Patricia Field and Alex West.
