Spring 2021 continued Saks’ socially engaged approach to branding with a cast of forward looking “designers, models and activists who are taking charge in a time of change”, as well as celebrity collaborations with comedian Tiffany Haddish and global superstar Maluma. As the pandemic forced us to change, we sought to celebrate game changers and innovators who were taking advantage of the moment to make a better world.
To create our seasonal color approach, we layered projections of color graphics in increasing number and approaches until we had built a truly unique environment for each cast member. Colors combinations and transparency manipulations created a fantastical, futuristic world that speaks to the game-changing potential of the cast.
